On Apr. 4, 2024, Ambassador Endo Kazuya presented his Letters of Credence to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of the Philippines at Malacanang Palace.
During the ceremony, Kazuya expressed his enthusiasm to further deepen the strategic partnership through steady progress of cooperation in a wide range of areas such as security, economy and people to people exchanges.
Accordingly, Marcos Jr. extended a warm welcome to Kazuya and described their ties as strongest than ever. He also expressed confidence that our relationship will be elevated to greater heights with close cooperation under the leadership of Kazuya.
Following ceremony, Kazuya made his way to Rizal Park, where he participated in a wreath-laying ceremony in honor of Dr. Jose Rizal, the national hero of the Philippines.
