Alsons Sarangani Energy plant garners 3 ISO certifications

The 210 mega-watt (MW) thermal power plant of the Alsons Power Group’s Sarangani Energy Corp. (SEC) in Maasim, Sarangani Province recently earned three certifications of compliance with various standards developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The SEC power plant received certifications of compliance for Environmental Management System — ISO 14001:2015; Occupational Health and Safety Management System- ISO 45001:2018; and Quality Management System — ISO 9001: 2015. The certifications were issued by the British Standards Institution — a member body of the ISO.

The certifications were received by: The SEC thermal power plant in Maasim provides power to Sarangani Province, General Santos City and other areas of Mindanao.

Alsons Power is Mindanao’s first private sector power generator with a current portfolio of four power facilities and serves over eight million people in 14 cities and 11 provinces in the country’s second largest island.
