ABS-CBN Corp. yesterday will return to free television broadcast starting this week at the newly rebranded channel 11, following its blocktime agreement with Zoe Broadcasting Network Inc.
ABS-CBN said some of its entertainment shows and movies will be seen on the rebranded A2Z channel 11 on analog TV in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.
The network said the rebranded VHF channel will serve viewers with uplifting and inspiring shows of life, love and hope as well as educational programs, local and foreign movies, some of the best-loved ABS-CBN shows through blocktime arrangement, and programs from licensors like Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN Asia), Knowledge Channel and others.
Some of the programs on Zoe’s Light TV 33 will also air on A2Z.
A2Z is also available on many cable and satellite TV like Sky Cable (channel 11) and more.
The blocktime agreement came three months after the House of Representatives rejected ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal that resulted in the retrenchment of nearly 5,000 employees.
ABS-CBN continues to air via cable TV and satellite partners, through the internet over its own websites and partner platforms like Facebook and Youtube, and all over the world in partnership with global media companies.
