ONE-stop platform eGov PH super app is fully operational with over 200 local government units (LGU) joining the platform, according to the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
During the Laging Handa public briefing, David Almirol Jr., DICT undersecretary, said eGov is currently available in the country and it will be accessible to Filipinos abroad and foreign tourists once the system upgrade is completed soon.
As LGUs have integrated their website in the system as well as several other government agencies, Filipino citizens can have access to the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. or PhilHealth, Government Service Insurance System, passport application, driver’s license application, subscriber identity module registration and other government services, according to Almirol.
Almirol urged Filipinos to download the super app via iOS and Android devices for seamless government transactions.
The eGov super app serves as a comprehensive platform that consolidates various government applications from partner agencies, offering a convenient one-stop shop for the public.
Early this month, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. led the opening of the National ICT Month 2023 and the launch of the eGov super app that seamlessly aggregates various government services into a unified online system, effectively eliminating red tape and enhancing public service delivery. – Myla Iglesias
