The value of the country’s agricultural output grew by 5.7 percent year-on-year in the second quarter, traced to increases in crops and poultry subsectors, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) said on Wednesday.
The sector’s performance translated to P437.53 billion in total output for the April-to-June period.
The year-earlier output figure was P413.91 billion.
