Salary remains the top consideration in attracting Filipino talent but a culture of professionalism and respect in an organization makes workers stay.
JobStreet Philippines in the Laws of Attraction (LOA) research showed 16.8 percent of the 18,000 respondents indicated salary and compensation is the most important driver followed closely by career/development opportunities at 14.2 percent and work-life balance at 11.7 percent.
The research reveals that aside from the top three key drivers of attraction, employees also look for job security.
They also prefer a workplace surrounded by leaders and co-workers who are professional, respectful, and collaborative.
LOA also showed Filipinos do not actually consider the size or market position of the company when they apply for a job, with only 1.2 percent of the respondents saying they consider the company size.
