Nissan posted sales of 4,768 units in September, a record, strengthening the brand’s position as the third top seller among members of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI).
Nissan sales in September bested its previous record of 4,616 units sold in March 2019.
The September sales figure is a 21.8 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Driving this performance is the Nissan Navara, which accounted for 46 percent of sales for the month. The Navara’s strong sales also made it the best-selling pick-up for September in the Philippines. The Nissan Terra also pushed brand’s record sales, with the mid-size SUV contributing 23 percent for the month.
Both the Nissan Navara and Terra have recently been upgraded with the Nissan Advanced Display Audio.
“The strong sales performance is the result of the company’s strong fundamentals.
Excellent products and services, supported by passionate employees and dealer partners are the foundations of Nissan’s continued success in the Philippines,” said Atsushi Najima, president and managing director for Nissan in the Philippines.
