A total of 17,500 job vacancies in 60 companies registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) are up for grabs under the agency’s online job fair Development Outreach for Labor, Livelihood, and Advancement (DOLLAR) program.
PEZA said WorkBank Philippines Inc., which administers the program, recorded 40,000 applications were received since DOLLAR was launched in August last year.
Of the 60 companies, 16 are currently active with jobs posted online, mostly for business process outsourcing.
Of the 17,500 job vacancies, active companies under PEZA are Alorica, Teleperformance, Wells Fargo Philippines, VXI, iOPEX Technologies Philippines, Synchrony Global Services Philippines Inc., and Wideout Workforces Inc.
Other companies that joined the platform include Optum, Sykes, Accenture, Honda Philippines, Inc., HGS, and Ayala Land Premier.
WorkBank has no data how many have been hired, PEZA said.
PEZA was also recently added to WorkBank’s “Live Programs” section which serves as an additional promotional field on the job search category to highlight the ongoing job opportunities in various PEZA-registered companies.
