SM Cyberzone Challenger Series 2024 Wins Bronze at Marketing Excellence Awards

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – SM Cyberzone’s 2024 Challenger Series has earned Bronze for Excellence in Gaming at the 2025 Marketing Excellence Awards (MEA). The category recognizes campaigns that leverage gaming and gamification to entertain consumers, elevate brand experiences, and drive business objectives.

“The Cyberzone Challenger Series started as a way to bring gamers together, but it’s grown into a platform that truly champions the gaming community,” said Patrick Pacla, Vice President – Cyberzone Operations and Marketing at SM Supermalls. “We look forward to raising the bar with even bigger and bolder events for gamers and e-sports fans.”

The series launched in May 2024 at SM City North EDSA, featuring tournaments across Tekken 8 1v1 Mini Challenge, Warzone Solo Yolo, F1 Racing Challenge, Tetris Challenge, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Valorant. Additional legs were held at SM Mall of Asia and SM City Clark for the grand final
