HONOR Philippines Transforms Digital Retail Experience with TikTok Shop Breakthrough

HONOR Philippines has emerged as a digital retail powerhouse on TikTok Shop, achieving a 174% growth in gross merchandise value (GMV) during Q4 2024. The smart device provider secured its position among TikTok Shop’s Top 20 brands in the Phones & Tablets category, ranking #13 overall.

Strategic Product Launches Drive Sales

HONOR’s well-timed product launches and compelling offers for TikTok Shop’s shopping experience were key factors in its success. The launch of the HONOR X7c during the 11.11 Paskong Panalo Sale significantly boosted brand visibility during a peak sales period.

HONOR also offered exclusive discounts, including 10% off the HONOR X9b during regular sales and up to 30% off with TikTok Pay Later. These incentives boosted sales and positioned HONOR as a top-performing brand.

He added that TikTok Shop is the perfect platform to showcase innovations, offering customers quality and value in a seamless shopping experience.

HONOR also optimized product listings by highlighting each device’s unique selling points, which drove a 114% increase in Shop Tab GMV and tripled non-affiliate GMV, proving the effectiveness of its organic and affiliate-driven sales strategies.

Engaging Content Fuels Consumer Connection

HONOR’s commitment to content-driven commerce has yielded impressive results. The company conducts daily 12-hour livestreams, leading to a 400% increase in Live GMV during the 12.12 Paskong Panalo sale compared to regular business days. Quarter-over-quarter, livestream revenue increased eightfold, demonstrating the growing consumer demand for interactive shopping experiences.

In addition to livestreams, HONOR amplified its presence by participating in viral challenges and trending short-form content, further boosting customer interaction. One successful session recorded a gross profit margin (GPM) of 17.72, demonstrating that engaging content translates into stronger sales.

Utilizing TikTok Shop’s Tools for Growth

The brand’s strategic use of TikTok Shop’s advertising tools, including Product Showcase Ads, Video Shopping Ads, and Live Shopping Ads, resulted in a 4.5x increase in return on ad spend. This performance secured HONOR a spot among the top 11 brands in its category during the 12.12 sale.
