BPI Direct BanKo continues its commitment to financial education through active support of the Pangkabuhayang QC program, providing entrepreneurs with essential knowledge for better financial decisions.

The microfinance arm of the Bank of the Philippine Islands partners with the QC-Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office to deliver financial literacy training to small business owners in Quezon City.

“This partnership underscores BanKo’s commitment to nation-building, particularly in supporting local government initiatives that foster resilient and self-sufficient communities,” said Rod Mabiasen, Jr., BanKo President.

In January 2025, the program concluded its Phase 4 third batch with eight days of training and payout sessions. More than 3,400 entrepreneurs from all six Quezon City districts participated in, receiving insights from government agencies and private sector partners.

BanKo representatives taught practical savings strategies and encouraged wise resource management. The bank continues to promote financial inclusion through customized financial solutions and literacy programs for Filipino communities.
