TAAL Vista Hotel recently marked the beginning of the festive season with its cherished annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. This special event has become a tradition that captures the essence of the holiday spirit.

Peggy Angeles, executive vice president of SM Hotels and Conventions Corp. (SMHCC), in welcoming attendees with warmth, expressed, “We are truly honored to have each and every one of you join us for this special occasion as we gather to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. The theme, ‘Where Christmas feels like home,’ resonates deeply, reminding us that even in the face of adversity, joy, hope, and enchantment can be found in the simple pleasures of the holiday season, much like the comfort of home.”

As the guests gathered, Angeles encouraged reflection on the true meaning of Christmas, emphasizing, “It’s not only about the twinkling lights, festive decorations, or the beauty of wrapped gifts. It’s about the love, togetherness, and joy we share with our family, friends, and acquaintances.”

In the spirit of Christmas, Angeles urged everyone to take a moment to remember those less fortunate and extend acts of kindness, making the season brighter for all. She shared, “The illumination and radiance of our Christmas tree symbolizes the hope and optimism we carry in our hearts, uniting us in the joy of the season.”

“This year’s Christmas theme resonates deeply within our hearts,” remarked Ramon Makilan, general manager of Taal Vista Hotel. He reflected on the holiday season as a time when families come together, loved ones embrace, and communities unite. It’s a season for introspection, gratitude, and offering a helping hand to those in need.

As the majestic Christmas tree illuminates, Makilan emphasized, “Let the brilliance guide us toward the true meaning of Christmas – a season of joy and giving. It serves as a reminder that the holiday spirit is not solely about the gifts we receive but also about the compassion and kindness we extend to one another.”

Expressing his hope, Makilan invited everyone to celebrate the holidays at Taal Vista Hotel, a place that has been their home for the past 84 years. He envisions a festive season filled with joy, creating lasting memories for all who choose to make it their holiday haven.

Taal Vista Hotel unveiled its Christmas offerings through a captivating brochure, inviting guests to explore the festive delights awaiting them.
