Ready to drive starting May 26
A canvas of Volkswagen T-Cross SUVs filled the Batangas Port over the weekend, as the cars started to arrive in batches ready to be deployed to VW dealers starting May 26 and delivered to owners who pre-booked their cars early.
The initial batch of the T-Cross were lined up for inspection at the unloading area of the South Luzon port, confirming earlier announcements by VW that the vehicles were indeed on their way from the Shanghai port. The VW T-Cross for the Philippines is manufactured in China by SAIC–the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation–which is currently one of the most modern car assembly plants in the world.
So in less than a month, Filipino motorists will wake up to the dazzling sight of Volkswagen’s globally acclaimed subcompact SUV.
Volkwagen’s official statement on the arrival of the T-Cross SUVs reads:
“That dream of driving your own Volkswagen will finally be realized in one crossover: Cocooned in a trendy design and youthful interior layout, the T-Cross reflects your sophisticated yet fun sense of style which will allow you to carry along loads of your passions and pursuits, as well as the tools for your continuing success. Complemented with unparalleled German precision, the T-Cross is designed and engineered for the modern and active millennial with a multi-faceted lifestyle. By May 26, 2021, one of these T-Cross subcompact SUVs may be going straight to your garage, so take the wheel of your own dreams and steer it your way.”
The introductory P30,000 discount is still available for the T-Cross 180 MPI AT S from P1.098M, discounted at P1.068M; and the 180 MPI AT SE from P1.198M, discounted at P1.168M up to May 26, 2021 only.
