They were good friends for a long time before they found love in each other.

One thing she was not counting on is falling in love this soon.

Everyone knows that actress Bea Alonzo did not have a good break up with actor Gerald Anderson, who quickly moved on and is now romancing Julia Barretto. But then, love bloomed between Bea and good friend Dominique Roque.

Dominique and Bea have been friends for a while. Apparently he has been harboring feelings for her, but Bea was unaware of this. She only sensed Dominique’s interest in her when he started inviting her out.

Well, Bea and Dominique are now open about their feelings — and their relationship. The two have just returned from their United States sojurn. There is no talk yet of anything serious between the two, but who knows when the relationship will lead in the near future.

Bea is just grateful she’s busy. Since her transfer to ABS-CBN, projects have been lined up before her.

First, there’s a series, which she intimated when she guested in the “Boobay and Tekla Show” last Sunday. She has already met with the other members of the cast, the production staff, and its director. There was immediate rapport among them.

“Kaya I can hardly wait na mag-start work na kami,” she said.

But Dominique advised her to not rush things. “Dahan dahan lang,” he told her.

Like Bea, Beauty Gonzales has also transferred to GMA.

She has started work on her first assignment on GMA, “Loving Miss Bridgette,” where she plays the guidance counselor who had a one-night stand with a student much younger than her.

Beauty, 30, is a former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate who is married to art curator Norman Crisologo, who is twenty years older than her. They have a five-year-old daughter, Olivia.

In “Loving Miss Bridgette,” Beauty’s leading man is Kelvin Miranda, 22 years old.

TV host-comedian Joey de Leon openly admits he will support Senator Ping Lacson and Senate President Tito Sotto in next year’s elections.

“Malaki daw kasi ang posibilidad na magiging maganda ang tandem ng dalawa para umunlad ang ating bayan,” said a kibitzer. “Pareho nga daw kasing sincere politicians sila.”

Of course, everyone knows that Joey and Senator Tito have been friends for a long time.

They host the longest-running noontime show, “Eat Bulaga,” with Senator Tito’s younger brother, Vic Sotto.

The trio also starred in several TV shows and movies. Asked if he has any political plan, Joey demurred and merely said, “Politics is not for me.”

On the other hand, Vic has a son who is in politics. He is the father of the much-admired Mayor of Pasig, Vico Sotto.

Mayor Sotto’s mom, of course, is actress Coney Reyes.

Senator Grace Poe is said to be running for Vice President in the elections 2022.

If that happens, then she will be going against Sen. Tito and President Digong Duterte.

In 2016, when President Digong won as president, while Senator Grace Poe garnered the most number of votes among the senatorial aspirants.

Senator Grace is 53 years old.

Her parents are National Artist and “King of Philippine Movies” Fernando Poe, Jr., and “Queen of Philippine Movies” Susan Roces.

Grace, who is chairperson of the Senate Committee on Public Services, is married to a private person, Neil Llamanzares, with whom she has three kids, a boy and two girls.

Rayver Cruz was infected with the coronavirus and had to take a rest for three months.

It is reportedly the reason he was absent from GMA’s “All Out Sunday” and the renewal of his Kapuso contract was delayed.

Now, he is back to work. He also gets the chance to see girlfriend, Janine Gutierrez, again.

Only a few days ago, he met with his elder brother, Rodjun Cruz.

Rodjun is now married to Dianne Medina. They have a one-year-old son.
