Sizzling return of ‘Bridgerton’ in May and June 2024

Netflix and Shondaland confirmed the return of the steamy period drama “Bridgerton” for its highly anticipated third season.

Set to premiere in 2024, the upcoming season will be divided into two parts, each consisting of four episodes. Part 1 is scheduled for release on May 16, 2024, followed by Part 2 on June 13, 2024.

Fans can look forward to diving deeper into the enchanting world of the Bridgerton family, with a particular focus on the evolving romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), affectionately known as #Polin among enthusiasts.

Accompanying the release date revelation, Netflix and Shondaland unveiled a video narrated by Lady Whistledown, compiling the excitement of fans expressed through tweets, comments, and TikTok videos.

Under the helm of new showrunner Jess Brownell, the third season unfolds with Penelope Featherington navigating the complexities of love and independence. Having abandoned her long-held crush on Colin Bridgerton, Penelope is determined to secure a husband who supports her double life as Lady Whistledown. Colin, returning with a newfound confidence, endeavors to mend their friendship and becomes her mentor in the art of confidence, leading to unforeseen complications.

The eight-episode season will feature a stellar cast, including Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Claudia Jesse, Luke Thompson, Benedict Bridgerton, Queen Charlotte played by Golda Rosheuvel, Lady Danbury portrayed by Adjoa Andoh, Violet Bridgerton played by Ruth Gemmell, and many more.
