Replenish the soul

NURTURE Wellness Village takes an individual away from the hustle and bustle of the metro and offers mindfulness and peace while taking care of one’s body, mind and soul.

The sanctuary in the highlands of Tagaytay, co-owned by Cathy Brillantes-Turvill, lets guests spend time with themselves and with nature, away from work and the rush associated with city living.

Nurture focuses on one’s health and wellness through offerings such as the Stress Buster package.

During one’s detox program, the village will help the body to naturally pull out the harmful toxins with the aid of charcoal enema, proper diet, massages and other healing treatments.

Going through the different treatments — holistic health and detox service that fine-tune the body —would involve doing meditation and breathing exercises.

Nurture encourages one to spend time in silence, walk around the garden or do some exercises to help overcome depression and anxiety. There’s even a reflexology path for guests.

Guests will also go through an infrared sauna to detox, helping to release the toxins. The detoxification is not just on a physical level, but also on the emotional and mental facets.

A hilot body massage can even go further in detoxifying and making guests feel relaxed and soothed. Therapists use their bare hands in this massage. They are licensed by the Department of Health and are trained to the highest standards by internationally licensed trainers.

Nurture’s Farmacy Super Juices can be had during one’s visit. There’s also the Chef’s Garden, Salad Bowl and Botikani Lola to learn how to stay healthy.

Nurture Farmacy’s vegetable plots, shaped like the different systems of the body, are planted with the healing herbs and vegetables best suited for each body system or organ.

Guests can also try the Aromatherapy Sleep Kit. Dr. Mike Turvill, who holds a doctorate in organic chemistry, has developed the Amu’in massage oils which are blended fresh and made only of the finest quality therapeutic essential oils sourced from the best suppliers.

The village likewise offers charcoal enema which uses activated charcoal to pull out toxins.

It serves as a natural colon cleansing.

As a stress relief, guests can perform tai chi in the garden as “ecotherapy.” Studies have shown the healing power of trees.

Guests can also be treated to a foot spa or a natural facial in the aesthetics clinic, San Sage.

A health reset awaits at the Nurture.
