LIFE insurer Pru Life UK has honored its top agents through its annual The Prudence Ball, a celebration of the most outstanding members of its agency force who made big contributions to the company’s success in recent years by reaching out to more and more Filipinos who want to get the most out of life.

Among the recipients of the awards were Deegee Razon as Rookie of the Year, Sharon Chua Pesengco as Agent of the Year, John Ronnel Boncodin Sales as Unit Manager of the Year, Marko Patino Alejandro as Branch Manager of the Year, Carl Benson Panganiban Olivar as Area Manager of the Year, and Jonash Chua Go as District Manager of the Year.

“The Prudence Ball is our way of honoring the hard work and dedication of our agency force. They are one of the main reasons why Pru Life UK remains as the number one life insurer in the Philippines,” said Eng Teng Wong, Pru Life UK president and chief executive officer.

“As one of the best in the industry, you are now part of the life insurer’s Orion League of Stars — dazzling, setting the insurance industry ablaze, and outshining the rest,” Wong said of the winners.

Life in the midst of COVID-19 has sparked fear, frustration, and anxiety all around but in spite of the challenges, “I am immensely proud to witness how you have and continue to remain resilient, able to thrive and emerge even stronger to take the life insurer to greater heights,” he added.

“Your relentless focus and commitment to care for our customers, often in the toughest of circumstances, is truly inspirational,” Wong pointed out.

“By putting our customers at the heart of everything you do, you have helped us achieve our purpose of making more Filipinos get the most out of life. As we brave 2022, let us all aspire to make this year yet another record in terms of growth. With your conviction and energy, we can achieve our mission of doubling our customer base from one million in 2021 to two million this year,” he stressed.

Wong said the combined strengths as the largest, youngest, boldest, and most professional workforce, backed up by the company’s digital assets, “will enable us to give and share our professional advice and assistance with many, many, many more Filipinos and their families, serving their health and wealth needs consistently throughout 2022.”

“You are the beacons of hard work and dedication who inspire many to do well by doing good. By staying true to your mission, you light up the path for Filipinos to get the most out of life,” Simpao said.

At its first physical event since March 2020, the life insurer treated its agents to a luminary Orion League of Stars-themed party with world-renowned singers Jed Madela and Gian Magdangal providing top-notch entertainment.

“The Prudence Ball is a part of the life insurer’s program to provide a nurturing and rewarding environment for our agency force. We will continue to come up with new ways to teach them and celebrate their success,” Wong added.

Financial security made more accessible

Meanwhile, the Pru Life UK’s free one-year personal accident coverage is part of its efforts at helping Filipinos get the most out of life by making it easily available via Pulse, the life insurer’s holistic health and wealth management solution for consumers.

“We launched the free personal accident coverage through Pulse to show the public that having life protection doesn’t have to be complicated,” Wong shared.

The life insurer aims to provide peace of mind to Filipinos in these uncertain times. This limited-time offer provides an accidental death and disablement/dismemberment benefit of P50,000, in the unfortunate event of the registered user’s death or injury due to an accident. It also offers a burial benefit of P10,000, which will be given in case of death due to natural causes.

The plan is exclusive to New Pulse PRUShoppe customers or registered Pulse users that have not purchased and/or availed of any PRUShoppe product upon application of the free personal accident plan.

It will be available until June 30, or until the 150K free personal accident plans have been availed, whichever comes first. Filipinos aged 18 to 64 are eligible to register for this offer via Pulse. Further eligibility requirements can be viewed here.

“We strongly believe that through our inclusive efforts, more Filipinos will be inspired and encouraged to get started with their financial wellness journeys,” Wong added.
