AS the holiday season descends upon us, Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA welcomes the festive spirit with a special theme for their Christmas celebration – “Ang Diwa Ng Pasko” or the spirit of Christmas.
This year, the hotel has gone beyond the traditional holiday decorations by collaborating with some organizations to create a heartwarming and meaningful experience.
In a unique initiative, the hotel invited some children to contribute their artistic talents to the holiday preparations. The result? A collection of 11 illustrations created by children aged six to 11, each capturing the timeless themes of faith, family, and community.
“It is very heartwarming to see how Christmas is seen through the eyes of the children,” expressed Ann Olalo, general manager of Park Inn Radisson by North EDSA.
For Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA, this year has been particularly special and fruitful, Olalo said. “We are very blessed and thankful because business is good, and we are achieving all of our business targets,” she shared. Despite their success, the hotel remains committed to making a positive impact in the community where they operate.
Throughout the year, the hotel has undertaken various responsible business initiatives, aligning with the essence of Christmas – sharing and giving. “It’s not all about business, and it’s especially true for Christmas,” she emphasized. The hotel’s passion for making a difference in the community is evident in their commitment to giving back.
Attendees of the Christmas celebration were not just passive observers; they actively participated by voting for the best entry among the children’s illustrations. The winning illustration will be featured on Christmas cards for the children, creating a beautiful connection between the guests and the community. The voting process involved dropping votes into a fishbowl, adding a touch of excitement to the festivities.
Additionally, Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA is dedicated to supporting local trade, closing the loop on their commitment to responsible business practices. “It comes full circle about really doing good business but also giving back to the community,” Olalo affirmed. The hotel’s holistic approach to the holiday season goes beyond decorations and celebrations – it embodies the true spirit of Christmas by fostering a sense of community, gratitude, and generosity.
Meanwhile, the Quezon City government said they are committed to promoting a business-friendly environment, giving their utmost effort to support and facilitate the growth of enterprises. This unwavering commitment aligns seamlessly with Mayor Joy Belmonte’s overarching objective to cultivate a thriving and dynamic business landscape.
