It’s been eight years since my family and I went on an out-of-town drive during Holy Week. The last time was in 2009 from our house in Quezon City all the way to Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. It was planned for a five-day trip with stops in a friend’s house in Batac, Ilocos Norte, one night in Pagudpud, one night in Vigan on way back, and one night in Lingayen, Pangasinan, my hometown.
