The last Isuzu road trip held last week on a 260-km route from Iloilo City to Caticlan in Aklan was quite unusual for me because I didn’t do any driving on the first day. Quite indisposed after breakfast at the NAIA 2 terminal, I took to the passenger cabin of the all-new Isuzu D-Max 4x4 as soon as we arrived at the Iloilo Airport.  With me in the unit were Ray Butch Gamboa  producer-host of  the long-running TV shows Motoring Today, Autofocus and Business and Leisure, Pinky Colmenares, executive editor of Manila Bulletin, and Nobuo Izumina,  president of Isuzu Philippines Corporation who joined a media test drive for the first time since taking his new post early this year.
