Airline’s new travel
features make flying easier

Cebu Pacific (CEB) adds new product features to make flying easier for travelers.

The airline introduced an optional seat selection wherein passengers are given the opportunity to choose their seats prior to their flight. This service is available online up to 24 hours before flight departure, via call center and sales office up to four hours before flight departure.

Standard seats are sold at P100 and nine premium seats in an Airbus service with two premium seats in an ATR service sold at P200. "This is to accommodate passengers with special needs such as bigger leg room for their convenience," said Candice Iyog, CEB vice president for marketing and distribution.

"All passengers can reserve standard seats while passengers who wish to avail of premium seats should be at least 15 years old, willing to help cabin attendants during emergency situations, able to communicate in English and understand the safety briefing which will be given in English," said Iyog.

Aside from this, CEB is now offering a 20 percent discount for pre-payment of excess baggage through its website, call center, and sales offices. This will be offered in increments of five kilograms. This gives passengers savings of P100 for a domestic flight and P400 for an international flight.

Other new pricing schemes offered by the airline include the "Go Lite" fares, which aims to reward passengers for carrying fewer items on the aircraft thus reducing fuel cost for the airline.

A P200 discount will be slashed off upon booking when passengers indicate they are traveling with no check-in luggage. This new service is also applicable to both domestic and international flights.

Cebu Pacific also widens its payment services through phone baking, online, ATM and over the counter transactions with a wide range of accredited banks.
