Many, many people are walking advertisements of themselves. They talk about their accomplishments at the drop of a hat — without being asked about them, or without having any reason to do so. There ARE, of course, times when one has to talk about one’s credentials. In which case, people don’t squirm when we do. It’s like we have this built-in radar that lights up when someone’s bragging. And we all instantly get turned off, and tune off. In which case, bragging defeats its own purpose.

Pag-IBIG reports biggest home loan release, highest income

Pag-IBIG Fund released P65.1 billion in home loans in 2017, the highest ever housing loan takeout in its 37-year history.   This is the first time that the agency breached the P60-billion mark. The amount was disbursed to 80,964 Pag-IBIG members last year.
