Gov’t takeover of Malampaya eyed

The Department of Energy (DOE) said  its attached agency PNOC Explorations Corp. (PNOC-EC) is studying the possibility of taking over the Malampaya gas-to-power project after its contract with the consortium that operates it expires by 2024.
