Much loved micro motocrosser from Yamaha is here

STARTING riding early is made more fun and exciting with the PW50. This mini motocrosser has been around since the 80s. The latest version still retains the shaft drive which protects young riders from chain-related injuries. Many riders of today may have been trained on a PW50, which has since become an iconic ride—well-kept examples still fetch good prices.

Yamaha Philippines brings back the PW50 in a new trim, but still retaining the same ride height, fork rake and handlebar spread that is perfect for riders ages 3 up to around 8 years old. This micro-motocrosser opens a road full of adventures for children.

“This is where they begin their journey to discovering and igniting their riding passion” says the PW50 brochure.

The rider friendly design and lightweight structure makes ideal for riding enjoyment and skill development. It is complete with safety features such as an adjustable throttle that allows parents to limit top speed which best suits the skill of the rider. It has a fully automatic transmission, a two-stroke 50cc engine, a low seat height at 18.7 inches, and low maintenance requirements because of its enclosed shaft drive.

The PW50 is initially available at the Yamaha Flagship Shop—The YZONE—with an introductory SRP of 69,900. (DGET)
