EK celebrates 22 on 22

It will be a doubly exciting October as the Philippines’ premiere theme park, Enchanted Kingdom, marks another year of achievements, recognitions and its strengthened commitment to building national pride.

Aptly themed “The Filipino Spirit Flying High,” EK celebrates its 22 years on October 22, a milestone that is shared with all its guests and partners who have supported Enchanted Kingdom.

EK’s 22 on 22 Anniversary lineup will bring twice the fun and double the magic for all its very important park guests.

More importantly, the country’s two giant networks are joining this celebration! Whether you are Kapuso or Kapamilya, it is star power twice over as the biggest and most sought-after celebrities jumpstart and cap off the whole month’s festivities.

Last weekend was Kapuso Day at EK.  Teleserye fans had a special treat with the first of EK’s pre-anniversary events. Impostora, Haplos, Ika-6 na Utos and Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko’s star-studded lineup were there and partied the night away.

The excitement at the AGILA Theater Grounds continues this weekend with ABS-CBN talents gracing the Saturday lineup. A day’s worth of surprises and star-studded entertainment will surely wow all parkgoers, so be ready to mix, mingle and take your groufies with the Kapamilya network’s hottest celebrities.

The much-awaited spectacle of stars happens on October 22.

Expect a night of music and magic courtesy of one of the Philippines’ hottest love teams today- Nadine Lustre and James Reid, better known as JADINE.

Pinoy fans will go wild with the popular popstar and heartthrob duo bringing their A-game for EK’s milestone party.

Host extra-ordinaire and showbiz royalty Luis Manzano will lend his trademark gab and spunk as the night’s master of ceremonies. What a night it’s going to be!

After witnessing JADINE in the flesh, walk over to the Spaceport area for the Skywizardry Fireworks Competition to light up the night sky. Hosted by Ms. Angel Aquino and Yoni Mamon, with wholesome twosome Ella Cruz and Julian Trono performing for the crowd, expect the night’s fanfare to end with a momentous high!

EK President and Chairman Mario O. Mamon was recently recognized by the University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) for his exemplary contributions to society and country, in ceremonies held at Ang Bahay ng Alumni in UP Diliman last August. Mr. Mamon joins the prestigious roster of 33 outstanding alumni recognized for blazing their own trails in their respective fields and consistently bringing honor to their alma mater.

He received the UPAA Distinguished Alumni Award in Entrepreneurship and Employment Creation for his work on Enchanted Kingdom, a business he built on a dream, fueled by professionalism, strong faith and exceptional service which he shares with wife Cynthia. Together, the Mamons work tirelessly to make EK a top employer in the Laguna area and provide livelihood to hundreds of staff from Laguna, Metro Manila and beyond.

With all the support of its stockholders and the patronage of about two million guests, Enchanted Kingdom is grateful for the accolades. Most recently, EK’s newly opened Agila: The EKsperience received the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Brass Ring Nomination for Visual Merchandise Display, retail store “Pugad”. Agila: The EKsperience also received THEA Awards for Outstanding Achievement. With a clear advocacy for the plight of our endangered national bird, protection and preservation of our culture and the islands, Agila’s THEA nomination comes as a wake-up call for all Filipinos to regard their country with respect, care and resounding pride.
