DTI chief tours Republic Cement

Trade Secretary Ramon Lopez recently toured Republic Cement & Building Materials Inc. plant premises in Norzagaray, Bulacan.

 The Norzagaray plant is engaged in the manufacture, development and, sale of special and blended cement.

 The plant tour gave an overview of the cement manufacturing process from the preparation of the raw mix, burning, milling, to packaging. 

Republic Cement representatives further shared about the company’s plans to expand its cement and clinker capacity in support of the government’s ‘Build, Build, Build’ campaign.
 
“We are keen on being the country’s partner for the stable supply of construction materials. For us, this is not just about building the business—it’s about building the nation, building a stronger Republic,” said Nabil Francis, Republic Cement Services Inc. president.
