A season of this and that

Today, I’d like to talk about beauty because, just yesterday, as I attended a party, I overheard someone in the next table advising those seated with him/her:  “Say goodbye to all your skin imperfections”.

I recall that a week or two ago, Ma. Corazon O. Dequito also mentioning that there is a leading beauty manufacturer DermAsia  (led by its CEO Nikki Tang and its sales and marketing manager Charles Mandy), recently held the launch of “Agnes,” a top of the line device that destroys sebaceous glands. Sebaceous glands are tiny glands in the skin which secretes lubricating oily matter responsible for acne. Susmaryosep!

The Agnes machine was launched at Chef Jessie, Rockwell Club in Makati City. A creation of notable dermatologist and inventor Dr. Ahn Gun Young, Agnes is a safe and effective machine that not only puts a stop to acne; it also vanquishes blemishes, eye bags, and wrinkles – and does so with no skin irritation and zero down time. Ummm. That’s exciting.

At the launch, those present – all  avid beauty consumers and experts alike-  listened intently as Dr. Ahn expertly answered questions about the machine. There were patients/clients and dermatologists who also had a firsthand experience with Agnes; and as expected, there were testimonials about the machine’s effectiveness.

As I understand it, with Agnes, we can now say farewell to all our dermatological issues and say hello to a life of rediscovered confidence… it is also said: “nowadays it is a sin not to be beautiful”… agree?

My friend, Ed Soller,  invites you to “Morayta ism @16”, an on-going  group Art Exhibit featuring the Morayta Group of artists.

The show was launched last December 8,  with guest artists Dom Briones, Vuttichai Suvarnasuddhi, and Lalyn Buncab and Sen. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara as its guest of honor. It was held at Galerie Astra, 2/F LRI Design Plaza, 210 N. Garcia St. Bel-Air II, Makati City. The show runs for another two weeks and is open to everyone.
