Free Landers membership from BPI credit card

CARDHOLDERS who used their qualified Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) credit cards for a minimum single-receipt purchase of P3,000 at Landers Superstore received new membership cards for free at the membership shopping superstore

Landers, a superstore that offers top-notch imported goods, various quality local products as well as lifestyle needs, hopes to attract more members this Christmas season through its recent partnership with BPI, said Pinky Angodung, Landers marketing manager.
The partnership was also seen to enhance the shopping experience of BPI credit cardholders, she added.

Sharon Zulueta, BPI assistant vice president and head for Merchant Partnerships, said this was BPI’s response to requests of its cardholders as it aims to provide them the first of everything.

“It is both ways. There are cardholders who are familiar with Landers that want to try it,” Zulueta said, adding BPI ensures it provides value to its cardholders for every purchase they make, while at the same time it gave Landers access to its cardholder base which is one of the biggest in the industry.

“We appreciated the idea that the customer feels the excitement of shopping first before becoming an actual member. This gives them options,” said Gwen Lim, Landers president.
