Coleen, Arci, Ellen open up to Vice about their boyfriends

Angelia Gabrena Ong, winner of this year’s Miss Philippines Earth, is a working student.

A talent of Lux Talent management, one of the officers of which is a friend, Farah Ramos, Angelia juggles hosting, modeling, and her studies. She is taking up a course in marketing in a university in Manila.

Asked why she chose marketing, Angelia replied: “Para I would know how to market myself later.”

It was Farah, whom Angelia fondly calls Ira, who urged her to join Miss Philippines Earth. It was also Ira, she added, who encouraged her to be a candidate for Miss Manila, which was held early this year and organized by the City of Manila headed
by Mayor Erap Estrada.

“The contest was meant to raise funds for the maintenance of several health clinics in Manila, an advocacy naman of Mayor Erap’s wife, former Senator Loi Estrada,” Angelia, who lives in Sampaloc, said.

The 24-year-old did not win in Miss Manila, but she did not go home “luhaan” for she finished as second runner-up.

On her decision to join Miss Earth Philippines, Angelia explained that she supported the organization’s effort to help in saving the environment.

“I will be personally involved in their advocacy,” Angelia promised.

Meanwhile, guess who won as Miss Philippines Air at the beauty tilt?

Well, her name sound familiar. She’s Chanel Olive Thomas.

Chanel, a model, was once the girlfriend of Kapamilya actor Jake Cuenca. She represented her mom’s home province of Nueva Ecija.

Child actor David Remo speaks and acts like a pro in interviews.

The eight-year-old, who is a third grader in La Salle Greenhills, is articulate. His dad, Donn Remo, said the boy expresses himself well in English and Filipino.

David proudly revealed that he has never missed a class. His studies is his priority, although he also wants to remain active in showbiz.

David has appeared in a number of shows, the most current of which is “Pari ‘Koy,” which has Dingdong Dantes, one of David’s favorite actors, in the lead.

“The other one is Coco Martin. And my dream is to also work with him,” he added.

An in-demand commercial endorser, David, we heard, is actually not under contract with GMA.

Guess what we discovered when Arci Muñoz guested in Vice Ganda’s “Gandang Gabi, Vice”? She was featured in the show with her “Pasion de Amor” co-stars Ellen Adarna and Coleen Garcia.

During last Sunday’s episode, Arci disclosed the identity of her first boyfriend: Kean Cirpriano.

Kean is the soloist of Calla Lily. He was also a former TV5 mainstay like Arci. Now the ex-sweethearts are both with ABS-CBN.

The breakup was years ago and Arci refused to reveal the reason for the split. She is now with a non-showbiz guy. “My second boyfriend, after Kean,” she stressed.

In “Gandang Gabi, Vice,” twenty-three-year old Coleen admitted that her “It’s Showtime” co-host Billy Crawford, who is 33, is her first serious boyfriend.

“’Yung una kasi was only a puppy love,” she said.

Pressured to identify the guy, Coleen let it be known that she’s referring to Enrique Gil, also a fellow Kapamilya.

The 27-year-old sexpot Ellen Adarna, on the other hand, related that she has had several boyfriends, the last being Raymund Romualdez, son of Tacloban Mayor Alfred Romualdez and stepson of former actress Kring Kring Gonzales.

“Kabi-break lang namin,” she volunteered, adding, “Six months din kaming naging mag-on.”

Before Ellen, Raymund was linked to GMA talent Gwen Zamora, who is now the girlfriend of Paraňaque City Councilor Jeremy Marquez.

Councilor Jeremy’s dad is former Paraňaque City Mayor Joey Marquez.

Kris Aquino brought son Bimby Yap to Singapore for his eighth birthday last April 19. The trip was featured in “Kris TV,” which Bimby co-hosts with his mom.

On June 3, it’s the turn of her firstborn, Josh. Kris’ panganay will turn 20 and she plans to bring him to Japan, his favorite destination.
