Alden’s promise

Before Alden Richards dons his costume as the latest primetime superhero, the actor-host-singer will serenade fans – and leave them a promise – via his new single under GMA Records, “I Will Be Here.”

Alden, who will play Victor Magtanggol on GMA, is considered a true hero with his many unselfish acts behind the cameras, most of which are done in secret.

This revival, which will be included in his upcoming album, is an assurance that Alden remains committed not only to his craft and his family – but also to the millions who continue to support and look up to him. And the actor-singer is not known for making empty promises. He delivers, just as he continues to help and inspire many – in secret and without fanfare. He participates and hosts many charitable activities and is always generous with his time to fans, especially the sick, young and elderly.

“Minsan kasi, when realities are too painful to see or to encounter in real life, you tend to look away from it,” said Alden.

He understands that struggles may differ from other people, but he believes the love behind offering comfort to those who are distressed is universal. “The message of the song is offering a shoulder to cry on, or parang I’m here for this person, group of people, na maaaring may pinagdadaanan,” he explained.

“I Will Be Here” is available for download on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and other leading digital stores worldwide. Its music video may be viewed via Daily Motion (https://www.dailymotion.com/ph) and on GMA Records’ official YouTube account (www.youtube.com/GMARecordsOfficial).
