Aga picks Bea Alonzo

Robi Domingo has remained single since his break up with Gretchen Ho in February.

The 28-year-old host said he is not really looking for love.

Is it because he wants to reconcile with Gretchen, who has remained loveless, too?

“Hindi natin masabi. But at this time, I’m focused on my showbiz career muna,” Robi said, smiling. “Awa naman ng Diyos din kasi, I’ve lately been working non-stop.”

Robi is set to leave with Yeng Constantino, KZ Tandingan, Iñigo Pascual, Silent Sanctuary and Rico Blanco for Dubai for the “One Music X” festival.

“One Music X” will be held at the Dubai Media Amphitheater on Nov. 3.

Robi said “One Music X” will be a music experience to remember for Filipinos because the participating performers will perform all original Pinoy music. There will also be other unique activities, plus unlimited drinks and food.

Liza Soberano, aside from training for the movie “Darna,” will start shooting the upcoming series, “Bagani,” set to air next year.

She has no idea yet who her co-stars will be in both projects.

“Basta ang alam ko, si Erik Matti ang magiging director ng ‘Darna’,” said Soberano. “But continuous ang pagti-train ko …. And ang mga stuntmen na nagte-train sa akin ay galing abroad.”

Asked about rumored boyfriend Enrique Gil, Liza said she accompanied him at the premiere showing of “Seven Sundays” and she said Enrique was as good as the other members of the cast – Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Cristine Reyes and Ronaldo Valdez.

She plans to watch the movie again, this time with her kapamilya – her dad, brother and grandmother. It’s one of the best Tagalog films she has seen, Liza remarked.

Is Kim Chiu the new “Horror Queen”?

The actress plays the title role in Star Cinema’s “The Ghost Bride,” directed by Chito Roño.

Roño was also at the helm of the hit horror film, “Feng Shiu,” which earned lead actress Kris Aquino the title “Horror Queen.”

“The Ghost Bride,” written by Charlaton Ong and Cathy Camarillo, is about an old Chinese practice, especially of wealthy families.

Kim said her Chinese grandmother told her of a relative who became very wealthy and was able to provide for her family after agreeing to be a ghost bride.

“Once pasukin mo ang pagiging ghost bride, ide-dedicate mo na ang sarili mo sa pamilya nung patay,” related Kim.

“Pero mayaman po sila hanggang ngayon, napamanahan po ‘yung kapatid at mga apo niya. Meron po silang mga building, mga negosyo, in exchange of your time and life.”

Did we hear it right Aga Muhlach personally requested for Bea Alonzo to play his leading lady in his next movie after “Seven Sundays”?

The film, we heard, will be shot in its entirety abroad.

Bea, who was last seen in the primetime hit “A Love To Last,” just turned 30 last October 17.

“We didn’t hear her organize a party,” said a kibitzer. “Pero tiyak, rumored boyfriend Gerald (Anderson) gave her a treat.”
