‘Brillante Mendoza Presents: Everlasting’

Saturdays with TV5 get even more exciting with shows recently added to its programming line-up including the films made for television by the award-winning director Brillante Mendoza in “Brillante Mendoza Presents.” After “Tsinoy” – a story depicting the lives of the typical Fil-Chinese families set in Binondo, comes another must-watch masterpiece – “Everlasting.”

Set in time for Baguio’s colorful annual flower festival popularly known as “Panagbenga,” “Everlasting” is a love story about two women and the struggles that come with their romantic relationship and choosing to follow one’s dreams at the cost of love.

This brave television masterpiece reflects TV5’s strong commitment to be the TV network that provides alternative entertainment. “Everlasting” celebrates individuality, freedom and love in all its form. Starring Aubrey Miles and Mercedes Cabral, this film-made-for-television is set to show a realistic take on lesbian relationships, and the search for real happiness. It will air on March 25, 9:30 p.m. on TV5.
