Ayala taps UberHOP to improve access to The 30th

Ayala Land Inc. is optimistic of its  Ayala Malls The 30th in Ortigas saying the two hectare mall complex is attracting the A and B market.

After a rebranding of the malls early this year to its current name, Ayala Malls continuously improves the offerings of the 28,000 square meter community mall.

It recently signed a partnership with transportation firm Uber to make The 30th Mall one of the transit points for the latter’s UberHOP service.

“The place has a dense A&B market that is kind of discerning,” said Mariana Zobel de Ayala, the mall’s general manager, on the sidelines of UberHOP’s launch  yesterday.

Zobel said  the partnership will improve accessibility.

Ayala Malls The 30th is positioned as a mixed-use lifestyle community mall in Ortigas, with a 40-year lease on the land from  the Tanco Group.

Apart from the mall component, the area will also have a 20-floor, 48,000 sq.m., office space that will open by August this year and is estimated to generate an estimated 9,000 business process outsourcing (BPO) jobs.

Ayala Malls The 30th becomes the latest pick-up and drop-off locations for uberHOP, which for a flat fare of P70 allow riders to conveniently access Ayala Malls The 30th to and from the business hubs of Makati and BGC.
