MILLIONS of people all over the world suffer from conditions that make it difficult for them to control their bodies. Movement disorders are neurological syndromes that can cause a person to either make excess movement or be unable to move their muscles, with the most common types being essential tremors (involuntary and rhythmic shaking), dystonia (uncontrollable muscle contraction), and Parkinson’s Disease (which causes muscle rigidity and tremors).
